Large Celtic ST Cuthberts pectoral cross style pendant on original chain, manufactured under the trade name Miracle by A Hill and company Ltd. The cross pendant is inlaid with faux amethsy glass stones, including a raised central faux garnet cabochon, out from which are set four mock amethysts, mimicking the original St Cuthberts cross design. The glass stones are set in silver tone metal. The chain is long measuring approx 67.5cms in length. Circa 1970's - 80's. Signed Miracle to the back of the pendant.
St Cuthbert was one of the most important saints of medieval Northern England.
- Pendant Size is approx 5.1cm ( from the top of the bale ) by 4.4cm at its widest points.
- Faux amethyst glass mosaic style inlaid stones.
