Vintage large Celtic ST Cuthberts pectoral cross style pendant on original chain, manufactured under the trade name Miracle by A Hill and company Ltd. The cross pendant is inlaid with faux turquoise and garnet coloured glass stones, including a raised central faux turquoise cabochon, out from which are set four mock garnets, mimicking the original St Cuthberts cross design. The glass stones are set in silver tone metal. The chain is long measuring approx 64cms in length. Circa 1960's - 70's. Signed Miracle to the back of the pendant.
St Cuthbert was one of the most important saints of medieval Northern England
- Pendant Size is approx 5cm ( from the top of the bale ) by 4.4cm at its widest points.
- Faux turquoise and garnet glass mosaic style inlaid stones.
- Necklace fastens with a push clip clasp, though its long enough to simply lift on and off.
- Signed Miracle to the back of the pendant.
- Very good vintage condition.
