A large, vintage, modernist abstract style, toffee and caramel tone faux agate, art glass brooch by Sphinx. The brooch is fashioned with a large faux agate, brown toffee and caramel tone, faceted art glass center, set in a brushed gold tone mount. The body of the brooch is designed in a modernist style, as an off center abstract triangle. A stunning vintage brooch by Sphinx, circa 1960's - 70's.
Sphinx jewellery is a collectable vintage British UK Jewellery brand. The company was started in the late 1940′s by S Root and was based in Chiswick, London. They were known for their well made, statement costume jewellery pieces , producing a wide spectrum of styles and designs.
