A vintage large marcasite and sterling silver gilt floral design brooch. The brooch is formed from delicate filigree work in sterling silver with gilt detailing to some areas. Set throughout the brooch forming bands across some leaves and a bordered edge to others are marcasite stones. Secure roll over safety clasp, stamped silver to the back of the brooch. Circa 1950's - 60's.
