Vintage Large Sphinx Marbled Toffee Glass Modernist Abstract Design Statement Necklace

A large,  vintage, modernist abstract style, marbled toffee art  glass necklace by Sphinx. The necklace is fashioned with a large marbled brown art glass, faceted stone Center, set in a brushed gold tone mount.  The body of the pendant is designed in a modernist style, as an off Center abstract triangle.
The pendant is set on its original scroll necklace chain. A stunning vintage pendant and necklace by Sphinx, circa 1960's - 70's.

Sphinx jewellery is a collectable vintage British UK Jewellery brand. The company was started in the late 1940′s by S Root and was based in Chiswick, London.  They were known for their well made, statement costume jewellery pieces , producing a wide spectrum of styles and designs.
