Vintage marcasite studded modernist style panel necklace by Sphinx. Sphinx jewellery is a collectable vintage British UK Jewellery brand. The company was started in the late 1940′s by S Root and was based in Chiswick, London. They were known for their well made, statement costume jewellery pieces , producing a wide spectrum of styles and designs.

This stunning marcasite panel necklace has a large central layered swooping design, set either side with two smaller floral panels, with marcasite detailed links, ascending the length of the necklace. A stunning vintage necklace by Sphinx, circa 1950's - 60's.

• Length of necklace approx 40cm unfastened so short choker in length.
