The brooch is formed from sterling silver set with marcasite stones in an art deco revival style design with a pale amethyst gemstone to its center The brooch is signed 925 for sterling silver and also fully hallmarked to the back. Circa 1995.

- Secure roll over safety clasp fastening.
- Signed 925 for sterling silver to the back of the brooch, with small full hallmarks present for assay in Sheffield 1995.
