A vintage, faux pearl set floral design brooch by Sphinx. The brooch is formed from textured and polished gold tone metal in an open work floral design, set with a faux pearl to the center of its flower. The brooch is signed Sphinx to the back. Circa 1970's.
Sphinx jewellery is a collectable vintage British UK Jewellery brand. The company was started in the late 1940′s by S Root and was based in Chiswick, London. They were known for their well made, statement costume jewellery pieces , producing a wide spectrum of styles and designs.
